Practical flight training consists of at least 45 flight hours. In case of previous practical experiences from other kind of flying (gliders, engine gliders or microlights) it is possible to apply a 10% relief of your solo flights up to 10 hours.

During PPL training you can fly two types of aircrafts. We offer basic training from 4808,-euro net of VAT (on Cessna C-150). If you fly other types price varies as the rate for particular type of aircraft.

Price for training comprises Aerodrome flight information service tax, preflight preparation and after flight analysis, lending of headset or GPS and landing and communication charge at airfield Letnany. Landing charges at other airports must student pay by himself. At controlled international airports it is approximately 12-40 euro for landing and other services. Price varies in locality. We usually fly to Brno Turany, Praha Ruzyne, Karlovy Vary, Vodochody or Pardubice. Charges at other airports are 1-4euro for landing. Extent flying at other airports depends you and your instructor.

For practical training we demand you to have insurance for damage on our aircrafts or we can offer you our emergency fund.

 

Practical flight training takes place at Letnany Airport, which is under Kbely military controlled zone and in the vicinity of Prague Ruzyne and Vodochody international airport controlled zone.  Due to this fact our students are familiarized with procedures and communication in this kind of airspace and they get necessary top view, practical experience and higher self-confidence in communication with professional controllers. Students will acquire awareness of procedures used in big airline airplanes. This is very useful for pilots aiming towards professional career.

Our school provides you above standard training for afforable price and helps in passing theoretical exams at Civil aviation authority. We provide our students with maximum of our time, we carry out very detailed preflight briefing and after flying analysis.

Change of the airfield operator

Since November 1st, 2009 there is a change of the operator of the Letnany airfield. The new operator is the company Gemini Port.
