Airfield

Aerodrome Prague Letňany approved as non public international Aerodrome for general aviation flights. Airfield has excellent traffic connectivity for both mass transportation (subway station "Letnany" on Prague subway line C right next to airfield) and individual transportation (highway D8 nearby).

During arrival to Letnany Airport please respect publicized noise restrictions. Infringement of these restrictions will be penalized.

Noise restrictions

It is prohibited to fly (engine aircrafts) over village Kbely, Satalice, Vinoř and Horní Počernice.
After 1800 (1700) UTC is not permitted to fly circuits.
Airborne RWY 05 turn to heading 035° to avoid build-up area of Kbely village. During approach for landing RWY 05 fly outside of Prosek a Letnany housing estate.
Airborne RWY 23 the pilot must climb outside of Prosek a Letnany housing estate.

Rules and restrictions of local flight traffic

Information about this AD is not continually actualized by NOTAMs.
Snow clearance is not provided in the winter season.
AD is located in MCTR Kbely. Aerodrome traffic zone (ATZ) is according to ATC Kbely clearance. Traffic circuits for aircraft create an essential traffic for approach towards RWY 24 LKPR.
Arrivals and departures are possible only with two-way communication with ATC Kbley tower 120,875 MHz.
Flight school traffic.
Intensive glider traffic in the summer season.

Omezený průkaz radiotelefonisty kurz, zkouška

Dne 19. a 20.3.2012 se v prostorách Aeroklubu Praha Letňany koná od 14:00 a 9:00 hodin kurz OFC Omezený průkaz radiotelefonisty letecké pohyblivé služby zakončený zkouškou! Cena kurzu včetně zkoušky je 1.150,-Kč (včetně DPH). Zájemci piště co nejdříve na vls@akletnany.cz Počet účastníků je omezený!

Základní teoretická příprava žáků ULL v Letňanech

Tuto zimu opět organizujeme na letišti v Praze-Letňanech základní teoretické školení pro adepty létání na ULL, a to od 8.1.2012 do 4.3.2012 (vždy od 8.00 do cca 16.00).
